Anchor Your Soul ⚓️

Life is constantly shifting, and we often find ourselves in uncharted waters. When we’re pushed out of our comfort zone and into a new season, it can feel disorienting. Before I adopted a sibling set from foster care, life felt steady. But that huge wave of change knocked me off course and nearly knocked me out. Slowly, I discovered rhythms that anchor my soul, and each day I’m learning how to stop resisting my new season and start welcoming it.

I created this space for you to join me if you also need a regular reminder to settle your soul and grow through what you go through. The term "steady as she goes" is a nautical expression dating back to the 19th century. Ship captains and crews would use it to instruct the helmsman to keep the ship (ships were referred to as female) on a steady course. It’s important to keep a ship steady and on course through uncharted waters, and so it is in life. I typically share a faith-filled reflection, a quote, a book I’m reading, questions to consider, and a few favorite things. Subscribe below, and let’s find our footing together.
